We Got FEVER – Shoes on a Mission by Natischa Harvey

1CCU Media had the opportunity to chat with Founder and Designer of FEVER Shoes, Natischa Harvey. Natischa is an up and coming powerhouse in the shoe design industry. FEVER has launched a HOT line of ladies stilettos that are taking the runways and entertainment industry by storm. Recently seen on the feet of such celebrities as Raven Symone on the Wendy Williams Show, Angela Simmons, Dawn from Danity Kane at this years Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I recently purchased my first pair of FEVER “Said” Shoes and I absolutely LOVE them. Check out our one on one interview with this Star Shoe Designer on the rise.

Natischa Harvey – Founder/Designer
1CCU: What was your inspiration to start designing shoes?
N.H.: As everyone I think your talent is derived at a young age. I have always been fascinated with materials, textiles, and colors at a young age I continuously had a sneaker fetish which then turned into stilettos as I continued to age.
1CCU: What factors play a part in the design of your shoes?
N.H.: I typically name shoes after people I know, meet, and are related to. Typically the name of the shoe is the concept/idea behind the design. Something that person may have said, wore, etc… but it is all personal at the moment.

Celebs in FEVER

1CCU: There seems to be variations of your popular “Tiff” designed shoe that has now been seen on the runways of this years NY Fashion Week by Angela Simmons and Raven Symone on Wendy Williams show. As a result people seem to be confused as to if your original design is a replica, can you please clear that up for the record?

N.H.: I can only speak for myself and FEVER. My Tiff style has been out for 2 years now. I originally designed this shoe in 2008 for the launch of my line and have made various versions of this particular style. I have now seen other brands have designed a similar style as well.
1CCU: What was the defining moment that made you realize that you had something unique that the world needed to see in shoe designs?
N.H.: I am not sure if I have exactly felt that moment yet, and I am not sure if I exactly want to. I think that is what keeps me on my edge and continues to keep my designs coming. I do know that I am good at what I do and my designs will be something for various women to have. It feels good to receive positive feedback and request from various individuals daily.
1CCU: How many designs do you currently have?
N.H.: SEVERAL. I create 30 styles per season.
1CCU: Your shoes have personal names such as “Tiff”, “Amanda”, now “Raven” & “Monica”, are these named after people you know? What’s the meaning behind the names?
N.H.: I typically name shoes after people I know, meet, and are related to. Typically the name of the shoe is the concept/idea behind the design. Something that person may have said, wore, etc… but it is all personal at the moment.
1CCU: How long have you been a designer?
N.H.: Since about 10th grade in high school, for some time now.
1CCU: Where can people currently purchase your shoes?
N.H.: Online at www.fevershoes.com and various boutiques throughout the USA and Caribbean.
1CCU: What does the future hold for Natischa Harvey & FEVER shoes?
N.H.: A lot I am hoping. Just continued success and expansion of the brand.
1CCU: Tell us one thing about Natischa that we don’t but should know?
N.H.: I think people should know but if you don’t, God is the secret behind the success of FEVER and If you want to breath as bad as you want to succeed then you will be successful! Don’t ever Cry to give up Cry to keep going!!!!

“The Future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”&”I can do the impossible, I can see the invisible, because I got faith”! “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” ~ Natischa Harvey
